Day 108 - All the coffee

March 3 - Atenas, Costa Rica

In addition to our routine of a morning run, cooking meals, and reviewing open jobs, we visited a coffee farm nearby.  Evan and I visited this place years ago, when they were just getting started, and we enjoyed the candor and passion of the owner, Gabriel, then.  His passion is still alive and well, as the farm has grown and no longer has to export its coffee.  The coffee is still good, the farm is still trying to find ways to diversify, and they still share skepticism of organic farming (despite being organic themselves).
