Day 99 and 100 - Beauty at the Cemetery

February 22 - 23 - Sucre, Bolivia

We continued our daily routine of volunteering and practicing Spanish.

We took one last cooking class, learning to make Phisara de Quinoa, a Bolivian dish with quinoa, veggies, and beef.

We also visited an awesome wool hat store.

We went on a run to the cemetery.  It was a beautiful place!  We learned that the plots (stacked vertically) were only rented for 2-3 years, then the family had to come empty them out!  We saw someone doing just this.

We also went to the Tesoro (treasure) museum, which was full of beautiful minerals and the history of mining in Bolivia.  The displays were beautiful, the rooms were dark, and the guide turned on lights for each individual display as she explained each one.
